Care of your jewellery

It is important that you care for your Nuberu purchase properly, to make sure that it looks great forever!

Nuberu jewellery is made with the finest materials and components available. Any colour variation, or slight deficiencies are due to the handmade nature of our products.

Silver oxidises when it comes into contact with air, so jewellery that is not stored properly will eventually tarnish. Although it does not look good, we reccommmend that you store your jewellery with silver components in an airtight plastic bag. Not glamourous but practical!

Alchohol based products will also tarnish the jewellery, so please do not let perfume, body lotion, hairspray, etc come into contact with your jewelery as damage caused by such use cannot be refunded with Nuberu.

Some of the items on the website are made using glue and we recommend that you dont let your purchase come into contact with excessive water, so we dont suggest wearing such items in the shower!

Always remove your jewellery then washing hands, showering or swimming. Moisture can cause stones to become dull and loose.

If you find at a later date, that you jewellery needs a clean then we reccommend a silver polishing cloth to get your silver looking as good as new. For any glass or plastic products, then a damp cloth will be suitable to get them looking great again.
